Only 22% of 116,000 total licensed architects in the United States are women.

Women History Month is an opportunity to celebrate women who play a significant role in shaping our history and future. We created Primaverarch to amplify as many women as possible. We aim to elevate the voices of women who are changing the narrative for the current and the next generations of aspiring designers. Throughout the month, we will provide content to bring awareness to the lack of gender equality within the profession.

While statistics show an increase in women entering the profession, we need to be able to support them, represent them, and elevate them to licensure and beyond. We need to make sure more women are held in leadership and educative roles. Finally, while celebrating Women’s History Month, do not forget to celebrate multiple groups of women from all backgrounds.
